Parenting Teens: Why They Pull Away & How to Reconnect
Thurs 30th April | 7.30pm |Online via Zoom

Parenting Teens: Why They Pull Away & How to Reconnect
£5.00

When connection with a teenager becomes harder, it can leave you feeling unsure of how to reach them. The familiar ways of talking, listening and understanding each other may no longer land in the same way, and it can be difficult to know what is happening beneath the surface.

Join Jemma Newman, Founder and Counsellor at Full Circle Collective, for a therapist‑led session that gently explores this shift in connection. Drawing on the common patterns and themes that emerge in therapeutic work with teenagers, this session offers insight into what may be going on for them and how adults can respond with steadiness and attunement.

In one focused hour, we will explore:

What often sits beneath the surface: The inner experiences that can make communication feel harder during the teen years. • Why connection changes: What can create distance, and why familiar approaches sometimes stop working. • Finding a new rhythm: Practical ways to reconnect and support a teenager who feels harder to reach.

Designed for: Parents, carers and professionals wanting a clearer, calmer understanding of what shapes connection with teenagers.

Awareness to Action: Your Mental Health Awareness Week Workshop
£10.00

28th May | 11am | Zoom

Most workplaces are getting better at talking about mental health. But awareness alone doesn't always change how things feel day to day.

This therapist-led workshop explores the everyday habits that shape behaviour at work — and how small shifts in boundaries and accountability can make a real difference to communication and team wellbeing.

Practical, accessible and grounded in real psychological insight. No preparation needed.

Facilitated by Jemma Newman | Counsellor & Founder of Full Circle Collective

A one hour therapist-led online workshop for individuals working in teams and organisations who want to move beyond awareness and into practice. This session goes beyond the usual awareness talk, helping you understand what actually drives behaviour at work and how small, practical shifts can strengthen communication and support healthier team wellbeing.

Are we doing enough?

If mental health awareness week comes and goes and things still feel the same at work, you're not alone. Most teams want to do more — they just aren't sure where to start. This session will help you understand what actually shapes wellbeing at work and how small, practical changes can make a real difference.

This session is for you if:

- Your team talks about mental health but isn't sure how to put it into practice

- Boundaries and accountability feel like difficult conversations

- Communication at work feels strained or surface-level

- You're looking for something practical and grounded, not just another awareness talk

What you'll take away

- A clearer understanding of the habits that drive how we feel and behave at work

- What healthy boundaries actually look like in a team setting

- Practical tools to strengthen communication and accountability

- A more confident, grounded approach to supporting mental wellbeing at work
